I might say that this is too late for a fun sembreak post. Well, yes too late i admit! As we have our classes already. The fun and experience we had is still with in our hearts and minds. OooOOo touching isn’t it? Heh.
As you can see in the photo in my qmix that we had fun, fun as we had, we also encountered some unexpected things not to mention it. Hihi nothing important.
As for me I have first encountered to be torned by a sea urchin and it was so so painful like it was all over my left hand and right foot, it became numb and bluish. Men it scared me!!, that I might be having the pain for a long time, I can’t do things with my hands and walk (exage). But my friends told me to relax “yah its just a tuyom it can be cured by urine“, so I made my friends urinate at my hand (ewwww! no other way! haha) , I think two of my friends wahaha but the pain was still there. The thing is, it is just sea urchin but there are too many torns in my hand and foot, I think there are 16+ (not sure) . Luckily the resort had this “lana” an oil ( I am saved ). Overnight my hand felt good although scars were there. Hihi first time! Ouch!

What is Design for me?
Hey! Even though I am not that good at it, I have my own perspective too. That I’ll be having in just a while. Really, I am not that good I am just a learner and continue learning things that is why up to now I am a beginner hunger for learning. I just want to share something about things I have previously learn and encountered.
There are many good designers out there, and I always wanted to be good like them. Some people compare their works and self to others, like what I have encountered a couple of months ago and we had a quick conversation, so here it was:
Anonymous: Hey! Are you in to designing?
Me: Oh, I can’t tell. Slight maybe hihi.
Anonymous: Wow, which software do you use?
Me: Adobe. I’ve been using it for quiet a while.
Anonymous: Wow me either.
Me: Well, that’s good.
Anonymous: Hey? Do you think that *#@^ is good?
Me: <shocked>
(Wait a minute? What the heck is he trying to say?)
Anonymous: I mean, is his works cool for you?
Me: <ShHHhsh>
(Now we are talking!)
Anonymous: What do you think?
Me: Ahm! We can’t tell, it is his own design made and I do think that he’s good. Designs do come and go, sometimes we get the concepts we wanted or what was asked for but there are times really that whatever we do, we can’t really do it.
From this conversation, I came up into a conclusion about what was design is to/for me. Some of these are sometimes forgotten.
Be Unique.
Uniqueness is most attractive to the eyes of the viewers, and they wanted new things for their eyes.
Learn from others.
Learning from others is quiet cool learning some techniques, learn it and make it your own and don’t forget the first thing.
Practice.
Practice makes perfect, this is the quote that never fails in any field you are in.
Read, Think and Learn.
Yeah! Think, sit and make up your mind so you can conceptualize.
Do not compare to others.
Comparing to others might be suicidal, I mean do not compare your work, when you do, sometime you’ll just be frustrated. Love your own. Good works and Skillful people should be an inspiration to be better not as a competition because when you think of it? There are billions of good designers. What would you do now?
